Betty Jo Taylor, 89, of Orange Beach, passed away Feb. 21, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hails Taylor.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Rahal of Gulf Shores; four sons, Ed Rahal of Tampa, Fla., Hails Taylor of Orange Beach, Steve Taylor of Orange Beach and Grey Taylor of Orange Beach; a sister, Jane Tucker of Rome, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
During World War II she worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” helping the war effort.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at 11 a.m., from Morgan’s Chapel in Bon Secour.
