Betty Lou Hart, born May 14, 1935 in Greenville, S.C., a resident of Fairhope died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 at her residence.

She was a member of Barnwell Baptist Church and Grand Adah Eastern Star #479 in Mobile.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ola Eugenia Cox Traynum; father, James Thurman Cromer; brother, Robert Lawrence Cromer; and son, Larry Gene James.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Hart of Fairhope; two daughters, Cindy Hart Busby of Irvington and Cathy Dayton of Sunset Beach, N.C.; son, Joseph Timothy Hart of Houston; eight grandchildren, Stacey James of Florida, Justin Newell of Nashville, Joey Hart of Saraland, Jenna Stringer of Mobile, Courtney Busby of Irvington, Tyler Hart of Saraland, Nathan Stringer of Irvington and Kimberly Moody of North Carolina; one great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Barnwell Baptist Church, 7920 U.S. Highway 98, Fairhope, AL 36532.
