Betty Lou Miller, 82, a native of Georgetown, Ky., and resident of Summerdale, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at her home.
She was a long time member of the Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church, former president of the Christian Women’s Club, and former member of the Magnolia Springs Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Louise Campbell; father, Evans Martin Campbell; and daughter, Judy Francis Miller.
Survivors include her loving husband, Sanford M. Miller; two sons, Sanford Gene (Linda) Miller of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Judson McKinley (Pam) Miller of Summerdale; two daughters, Kathy Louise (Mike) Dukes of Summerdale and Julie Margaret (Larry) Childress of Irvington.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will be held Friday Oct. 8 at the church. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Magnolia Springs Wesleyan Church, 12233 Magnolia Springs Highway, Magnolia Springs, AL 36555.
