Bill G. Strickland, born Sept. 10, 1932, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Matie Overcash Strickland; his mother, Mattie Mae Strickland; and three brothers, Donny, Danny and David Strickland.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna (Larry) Trease, Sharon (Calvin) Bartl and Karen (Arty) Brewton; a son, Roger Strickland; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS, Pensacola, Fla.
