Billie Gene Vaughn Lancaster, 81, a native of Morgan County and a resident of Robertsdale, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
She was a member of the Robertsdale United Methodist Church, enjoyed Woodmen of the World activities and Tuesday breakfast at the Loxley Civic Center with the Senior Citizen’s Group. She loved flowers and had a talent for growing anything.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.E. Lancaster.
Survivors include a son, Garey Eugene Lancaster of Robertsdale; two daughters, Joyce Marie Hughes and Patrician Ann Mattingly, both of Robertsdale; sister, Willouise Chavers of Robertsdale; brother, Leonard Dwight Vaughn of Fairhope; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at Mack Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Spining officiating. Burial will follow at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
