Billie Louise McLeod Caldwell, 85, a native of Lucedale, Miss., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She retired as an insurance clerk at Bell Insurance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Caldwell; and a son, Robert Caldwell.
Survivors include four children, Dr. Bill “Butch” (Jane) Caldwell of Nashville, James (Debbie) Caldwell of Montgomery, Steve (Karen) Caldwell of Lottie and Rosa (Todd) Bingaman of Bay Minette; daughter-in-law, Polly Caldwell of Mobile; three sisters, Margie Allen of Leland, Miss., Anna Seyler of Rock Hill, S.C., and Jane Ellis of Kansas; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 at Lottie Methodist Church with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at New Home Cemetery in Lottie.
