Billy Ray “Cotton” Taylor, 67, a native of Foley and resident of Fairhope, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at a local hospital.
He was a member of the Fairhope Elks Lodge for 24 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Taylor and Evelyn Naish; and a sister, Laura Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Taylor of Fairhope; three sisters, Linda (Lee) Ellison of Loxley, Janice (Larry) Williams of Clanton, Ala. and Loraine (Gary) Tillery of Bessemer, Ala.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 3 p.m., at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
