SPANISH FORT, Ala.—The next “walk-on” boat tour of the Tensaw-Mobile River Delta from Blakeley State Park aboard its Delta Explorer is Saturday, Feb. 28, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

A “walk-on” tour means that seating on the 50-passenger boat is on a first-come, first-serve basis but passengers can purchase tickets and seating in advance with credit cards by calling 251-626-5581. Tickets are $22 for adults, $12 for children 6-12 and free to children 4-6.

 The Delta Explorer is also available for charter tours by groups and families with a minimum person guarantee by calling 251-626-0798.

Blakeley State Park is on state Highway 225 about 4.5 miles north of the Spanish Fort intersection of 225 and U.S. 31. The boat leaves from the Blakeley Park dock promptly at 1:30 p.m. The dock is about 10 minutes from the park entrance.
