Amanda Kay Blaschak and Adam Heath Whitaker were united in marriage at 7 p.m. March 21, 2008 at Loxley First Baptist Church. Brother Charles Gibbs officiated at the traditional ceremony.
The bride is the granddaughter of Andrew and Dianne Blaschak of Fairhope. The bridegroom is the son of Wayne and Rebecca Whitaker of Grant.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Andrew Blaschak.
Sally Morgan Ludke served as maid/matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Beth Michels Banks, Katie Sheldon and Jennifer Spears.
Jeremy League served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris McClain, Derek Freeman and Wade Spears.
Junior bridesmaids were Abigail Long and Kaitlynn Long.
A reception at the Loxley Civic Center followed the ceremony.
The couple resides in Mobile.
