Arnold Peter “Butter” Blohme Jr., 72, a native of Chicago, a long time resident of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and a resident of Fairhope, died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at his residence.

He was a fixture at his son’s restaurant Panini Pete's he worked helping in all aspects of the restaurant business, delivery, trouble shooting, bouncer, and veteran of Marine Corp. He was an avid football fan and loved to coach football.

Survivors include a son, Pete Blohme of Daphne; two daughters, Leslie Blohme Baumhower and Cheryl Blohme, both of Fairhope; long time companion, Elaine Pavkovich of Fairhope; and six grandchildren.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28 in the Fairhope French Quarter, Delmar and Section St., Fairhope.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, www.cancer.org.
