Carol Ruth Blum, 73, a native of Chicago and a resident of Lillian, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
She worked for over 30 years and retired from Western Electric as a telephone assembly worker in Indianapolis.
She was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church in Indiana.
Survivors include a sister, Shirley (Gary) Shrum of Lillian; brother, Herbert (Margaret) Blum of Roberts, Wis.; three nieces, three nephews, eight grand nieces, one grand nephew, and one great-grand niece.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19 from the chapel of Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Washington Park East Cemetery.
Local arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Elberta.
