Bobby F. Fields, 82, a native of Fayette County, Ala., and a resident of Robertsdale, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012. Mr. Fields retired from the U.S Air Force. He also was an engineer for the State of Alabama Highway Department. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Fowler; grandson, Wally Somerset. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Fields,Robertsdale; three daughters, Kathy Kershaw, Karen Fields and Karla Fields all of Robertsdale; four grandchildren, Samantha Kendrick, Miranda Beard, Bobbi York, Joseph Fields; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services were Wednesday, Feb. 29, at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Stephenson officiating. Burial was in the Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale.
