Bobby Miller, 56 a native of Fayette, and a resident of Foley died Sunday, May 15, 2011.
He graduated from the University of Alabama and worked for the State Parks of Alabama in the Conservation Division at Lake Point State Park, Gulf State Park, DeSoto State Park and Lake Guntersville State Park. He was an avid sports fan and loved music and books. He was a wonderful family man and a true “people person” who loved helping others.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Mickey Miller of Foley; daughter, Carla (David) Dempsey of Lillian; sons, Larry (Kay) Marshall Jr. of Prattville and Robby (Tanaia) Marshall of Foley; sister, Barbara M. Byers of Goldsboro, N.C.; brother, Charles T. Miller of Huntsville; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20 at Mack Funeral Home.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 19059 S. Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
