INETTE,Ala. — The Baldwin County Board of Education will hold six
informational meetings regarding voter redistricting.
"font-size: 12pt">The voting districts to be determined are the
districts from which members of the Baldwin County Board of
Education are elected. This effort does not affect where students
attend school.
"font-size: 12pt">Every 10 years, after each census, school
districts are required by Federal law to review and if necessary,
redraw voting district boundaries to reflect current population
trends.
"font-size: 12pt">You can see the proposed modifications and make
comment at

you want to see the maps and provide input in person, six
opportunities have been scheduled. The meetings are not feeder
pattern or district specific, meaning anyone from any area can
attend any meeting.
"font-size: 12pt">The meeting times and locations include: on
Tuesday, Aug. 9: Bay Minette Intermediate School Library, noon;
Rockwell Elementary School Library, 5 p.m.; and Daphne Elementary
Library, 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, Aug. 11: Fairhope Elementary
Library, noon; Summerdale School Gym, 5:00 p.m.; and Gulf Shores
Elementary, 6:30 p.m.
