Marilyn Hall Boggs, 68, a native of Fairhope and a long time resident of Spanish Fort, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort, and taught Sunday school there for many years. She was a substitute teacher in Foley for 25 years.
She was also an avid fan of Alabama football and Atlanta Braves Baseball
Survivors include her husband, Cliff Boggs of Spanish Fort; six sons, Mike (Tin) Jones of Foley, Allen Jones of Pensacola, the Rev. Timothy (Dana) Boggs of Brewton, Richard Boggs of Vicksburg, Miss., Greg (Judy) Boggs of Vicksburg and Christopher (Christy) Boggs of Pensacola; 19 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister, Nancye (Mike) Dick of Fairhope; three brothers, Carol Ray (Patsy) Hall of Spanish Fort, Fred “Skin” Hall of Fairhope, Bill Hall Centerville, Texas; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
