Hazel C. Bradford, 83, born Nov. 28, 1926 in Montezuma, Ga., a resident of Florida since 1997 and a resident of Estero, Fla., died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010.

She worked for the Army and Air Force Motion Picture Service in Atlanta and for the Boy Scouts of America in Pensacola, Fla. She and her husband Jack owned the Baldwin Paint and Body Shop in Silverhill for 15 years before retiring in 1990 to Lavonia, Ga.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby Bevel Compton and her husband, Jack E. Bradford; sister, Bobbie McElwaney; daughter-in-law Susan Phillips Bradford and grandson, Alex Bradford.

Survivors include a daughter, Jacquelyn (Ralph) Maxwell of Bonita Springs, Fla.; two sons, Jim (Angela S.) Bradford of Pensacola, Fla., and Gary Bradford of Wellington, Fla.; two sisters, Hilda Bryson of Covington, Ga., and Joyce (Tom) Usry of Eatonton, Ga.; three grandchildren, David Bradford and Lucia Bradford both of Pensacola, Fla., and Taylor Bradford of Wellington, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel in Pensacola, Fla. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
