The Benefit Softball Tournament for Brandy Thompson was a huge success, bringing in more than $8,000 to assist with her medical expenses.

The BC Strokers won the men’s division which had 16 teams competing. Impact won the women’s division from among 10 teams.

Brandy Thompson was injured in a fireworks accident in June. 
Recording artist Kristy Lee also stopped by and has donated a guitar from her collection to be raffled off to benefit Thompson.
