Lester Ray “Jack” Brannon, 73, a native of Kimberly, and a resident of Foley, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver from Bon Secour Fisheries after working th ere for 25 years.
Survivors include his wife, Sharron Clopton Brannon of Foley; three daughters, Patricia Wege and Linda Persen, both of Oshkish, Wis., and Tammy Klokow of Omro, Wis.; two sons, Ricky Brannon and Ronald Brannon , both of Oshkish, Wis.; step-daughter, Meredith Martin of Summerdale; step-son, Jason Buck of Elberta; two sisters, Nancy Denton of Birmingham and Betty Holmes of Hot Springs, Ark.; brother, Dick Brannon of Foley; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial were held Monday, Sept. 10 at Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale with the Rev. Bill Watts officiating.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale.
