"font-family: Arial;">MARIETTA, Ga.— Two Baldwin County Boys (But not for long- they're still on the U-side of 17-years-old) took part in a national championship and came out on the winning side with an incredible run throuh a guantlet of many of the top travel-ball team in the nation. Incoming seniors for 2011-12 Jordan Ebert of Baldwin County High and Brandon Peterson of Daphne earned national championship rings for their efforts. The 52-7-2 East Cobb Braves 17-U took home the B-I-G trophy last week at home in their own park to add to the excitement of a hometown club rallying through to a 10-0-1 run in a 216-team field to the World Wood Bat National
Championship. Some of their most exciting games were were in the elimination playoffs where they fought one-loss away from elimination to earn the final 17th seed bid to the finals.
