Braxton Morgan passed away peacefully on May 20, 2012 at his home in Magnolia Springs, AL. He was born, August 22, 1924 in Springville,Al , to Ola Colley Morgan and B.B. Morgan. He is survived by his sister, Opal Morgan of Montgomery; half-sister, Bonnie Logan; and five nephews and three nieces. As a veteran of World War II, he received the Purple Heart, Bronze Start, and Victory Metal for his service in Italy and North Africa. Along with his military service, he served in the Merchant Marines, was a watchmaker, and retired from the United States Post Office. The family wishes to thank Odyssey Hospice, Edna Vaughn, and Greta Love for their kindness in his last days. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
