Brenda Dewrell Wallace, 71, born in Mobile, and a resident of Crossroads, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2012, at her residence. She was a book binder for the Army Corp of Engineers.
She is survived by her husband, Roy H. Wallace of Crossroads; sons, Russell H. (Michele) Wallace of Phoenix, Ariz., Gregory R. (Judy) Wallace of Crossroads, Michael G. (Sophia) Wallace of Crossroads, Alfred E. Wallace of Pine Grove and Alton B. Wallace of Crossroads; her brothers and sisters, Bonnie (Bobby) Phillips of Semmes, Donald (Judy) Dewrell of Foley, Barbara Walley of Mobile, and Danny (Katrina) Dewrell of Mobile; and her grandchildren, Lance Corporal Gerod N. Wallace of Yuma, Ariz., Corporal Elliott Wallace of Kingsland, Ga., Ethan P. Wallace of Silverhill, Blaklei M. Wallace of Silverhill, Brady L. Wallace of Silverhill, Alyssa M. Wallace of Pine Grove, Chance Wallace of Crossroads and Drake Wallace of Crossroads.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Annie Jo Maloy Dewrell.
Funeral services were Feb. 11 at Crossroads Church of God with the Rev. Donnie Sanders officiating. Burial was at Crossroads Church of God Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Warren Johnson, Edward Johnson, Rusty Williams, Ronnie Wallace, Donnie Wallace and Rob Wallace.
