Brenda K. Deese, age 65 a native and resident of Summerdale, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
Mrs. Deese was a former employee of Gulf Telephone Company and was a member of Summerdale First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Deese of Summerdale; five daughters, Kendra (Shannon) Hayes of Fairhope, Maggie (Tobi) Quimby of Atmore, Karen (Patrick) King of Magnolia Springs, Angel Hayes of Foley, and Missy (Chris) Saxon of Summerdale; one son, Rev. Chris (Ashleigh) Deese of Summerdale; two sisters, Bettie Morgan of Camden, and Mona Fodor of Foley; one brother, Danny Stewart of Foley; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Deese and the Rev. Jason Smith officiating. Burial will be in Wynn Cemetery in Summerdale. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Summerdale First Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 145, Summerdale, AL 36580. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Robertsdale.
