Howard Hayse “Pe-Paw” Brock, 68, died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at a local hospital.
He was a native of Cullman; a resident of Loxley for the past 35 years; a full-time Evangelist minister of music; a former employee for the City of Robertsdale; and a member of the Full Power Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hayse and Sylvia Brock and a son, Kenneth Brock.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Brock of Loxley; two sons, Bobby (Jennifer) Goram of Stapleton and Buddy (Sandra) Brock of Bay Minette; two daughters, Judy (Jack) Brock of Stapleton and Catherine (Randal) Beams of Loxley; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Frank (Janet) Brock of Cullman, Larry (Wanda) Brock of Pedel, Miss., and Roger (Debbie) Howard of Birmingham; and five sisters, Jane Ann (Billy) Aultz of Hattiesburg, Miss., Gaynell (Melvin) Latham of Vinemont, Shirley (Charles) Hulsey of Philadelphia, Miss., Janice (Ralph) Lancy of Holly Pond and Pat and Larry Powell of Faulkville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 20 at the Full Power Holiness Church with the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial followed at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary McDonald, Randal Beams, Curtis Summerlin, Bruce Tennison, Doug Gray and Carmel Stewart. Honorary pallbearers were Lamar Toler and Wade Pigg.
Arrangements were made by Petty Funeral Homes, Atmore.
