Brock Ralph Barackman, 47, of Gulf Shores, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 of heart arrest.
Brock was born in Garden City, Mich. on Aug. 27, 1967 to Merle Hallock Barakman Jr. and Geral Dean Thacker Barackman.
Brock worked in Orange Beach at Lei Lani condominiums, but his passion for music was his life. The musician’s drummer, Brock played in numerous bands since high school, including Foolish Pleasure, Velvet Jones, Cynthia Drives, Johnny B and the Lucky Dogs and the Jay Williams Band, and was most recently working on original music.
Brock is survived by his sisters, Kendall Carre of Laguna Beach, Calif. and Brook (Darryl) Fairchild of Mobile; nephews, Mark Weston Barackman, Robert Brooks Fairchild of Mobile and Nicholas Orion Carre of Laguna Beach, Calif.; a great-nephew, Nathan Steven Barackman of Mobile; other family and many friends.
The family of Brock Barackman wishes to thank all those who have sent their condolences.
Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at 1 p.m., at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in Mobile.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
