Brody Rhodes Whatley, born May 26, 2008, died Monday, May 2, 2011.
He has been the greatest joy in the lives of those who knew him. His smile, his sly sense of humor, his fearlessness, his laugh, his sweet singing and dancing will be missed. Take comfort in knowing he has now marched into heaven with all the angels singing along with him.
Survivors include his parents, Kathleen Sharpless and Aaron Whatley; brother, Gavin Alexander; grandparents, Laura and Jerry Sharpless, Ann and Richard Whatley; great-grandfather, Edgar F. Sullivan; aunt, Rachel (Shane) Hughes, uncles, Adam Whatley, and Stephen (Lori) Whatley, more great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and many other relatives too numerous to mention; all of his church family at St. Stephen’s CEC; and his friends, Kip and Kendall Buck.
Visitation begins at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 5 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope with funeral services at 4 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
