Brooke Coburn, 21, born in Lawrenceville, Ga. and a resident of Gulf Shores, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 in Gulf Shores.
Brooke will always be remembered as the “life of the party” and for her gigantic sense of humor. She was fearless, easygoing and always up for an adventure. Her mother remembers her as a little girl, she was like a “bull in a china shop,” always into something.
Brooke is dearly missed by all her family and friends that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, George William Coburn.
Brooke is survived by her mother and stepfather, Mandy and Marty Cotter of Gulf Shores; sisters, Hailey Thompson of Gulf Shores and Jenny Thompson of Nashville, Tenn.; brother, Bobby Thompson of Peachtree City, Ga.; and their father, Lee Thompson Jr. of Peachtree City, Ga.; stepsister, Erica White of Foley; stepbrothers, Marty Cotter Jr. of Fairbury, Ill. and Jeff Cotter of Kennesaw, Ga.; and grandparents, Reba and Ed Laughlin of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Tommy Miller of Georgia.
A memorial mass was held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church.
