Richard Maxwell Brooks, 57, born in Washington, D.C., a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He was a maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex.
Survivors include his children, Kelli (Chuck) Wallace of Bay Minette, Nicole Brooks and Josh Brooks, both of Crossroads; their mother, Karen R. Wenzel Brooks of Crossroads; and five grandchildren.
A gathering for family and friends to celebrate his life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at his residence.
