Hannes B. Browder, 80, a native and a resident of Styx River, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Mary Jane Browder and one daughter, Katie Browder.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Browder of Styx River; five daughters, Johnnie Mae Moss of Silverhill, Joan Goodwin of Robertsdale, Teresa Mitchell of Marlow, Becky Norred of Styx River and Linda Ann Wade of Anniston; four sons, Don Browder and Dewitt Browder, both of Styx River, Kevin Powell of Pensacola, Fla., and William Powell of Barnwell; two brothers Marvin Browder and Sidney Browder, both of Styx River; 31 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services and burial were held Thursday, Feb. 18 at Hinote Cemetery in Styx River with the Rev. Randy Sirmon officiating.
Arrangements were made by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
