Marie “Peggy” Richardson Brown, 82, a native of Georgiana and a resident of Robertsdale, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009 at her residence.
She retired as a life insurance agent for American General Life & Accident Insurance Company and was a former resident of Bay Minette.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, two brothers; three sons-in-law; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.
Survivors include a son, Charles Mason (Shirley) Brown of Daphne; four daughters, Susan (James) Walton and Fran Stephens, both of Robertsdale, Nola (Ray) Hebert of Pendleton, S.C., and Jo (Mike) Small of Fairhope; brother, Y.C. Richardson of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Amy Harvil of Crossroads and Ann Rousseau of Ft. Myers, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 12 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Lynn officiating. Burial followed at Dean Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
