James Bryars Sr. and Dorothy Bryars of Stockton announce the engagement of their daughter, Darlene Bryars of Jackson, Miss., to Marcus Coleman of Jackson, Miss., the son of Annett Stapleton of Jackson, Miss.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Baldwin County High School, a 2004 graduate of Faulkner State Community College, and will graduate in December 2008 from Jackson State (Miss.) University.
She is a graphic designer.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Hinds Community College.
He works for AT&T.
The couple will exchange vows at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 29, 2008 before the Justice of the Peace in Bay Minette.
