Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lester Burbic Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cendy Burbic, to Rusty Hart, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Russell Hart of Orange Beach.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Hoover High School. She earned bachelor's degree in education at Auburn University in 2005 and a master's degree in education at University of Montevallo in 2008. She is a teacher.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Gulf Shores High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in business at Auburn University in 2005. He is a project manager/estimator.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. Aug. 1, 2009 at Orange Beach United Methodist Church.
