Minnie Louise Burge, 74, a native of Guntersville, former resident of Bay Minette and a resident of Fairhope, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Thomas Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Ella D. Chambers Chapter No. 26 Order of The Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, William Jesse Burge of Fairhope; son, Clayton Burge of Hueytown; two daughters, Mavis Vines of Pell City and Lisa Cobb of Fairhope; two brothers, Leonard Reel of McCalla and Arthur Reel of Piedmont; two sisters, Ruby Elsberry of Hanceville and Faye Hyde of Hueytown; and four grandchildren, Ross Vines and Brett Vines, both of Pell City; Connor Cobb and Samantha Cobb, both of Fairhope.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 13 at Fairhope Avenue Baptist Church. Graveside services and burial were held Wednesday, July 16 at Bostwick City Cemetery in Bostwick, Ga.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Thomas Hospital Foundation 750 Morphy Ave. Fairhope, AL 36532.
