George Walker Burnett, 54, a native of Mississippi, and resident of Orange Beach, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at a local hospital.
Survivors include his loving wife, Luanne S. Burnett of Orange Beach; parents, George and Cleta Burnett of Tishomingo, Miss.; son, George Evan (Manda) Burnett of Wren, Miss.; two daughters, Alisha “B.B.” (Van) Hoots of Amory, Miss., and Jennifer (Shane) Sanders of Gulf Shores; two sisters, Carolyn (Leslie) Blalock of Tishomingo, Miss., and Diane (Andy) Crawford of Tishomingo, Miss.; four grandchildren, Cameron Pierce, Kennedy Talbot, Lela and Daniel Sanders.
Beachside services were held in Orange Beach.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, or the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Foley.
