Burrell Jackson Stanford Jr., 88, of Foley, passed away Jan. 19, 2014.
He was a retired United States Air Force veteran, having served during World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Stanford of Foley; five daughters, Lynn Wiggins of Birmingham, Terry Bertella of Birmingham, Gail Adams of Pell City, Ala., Sharon Collins of Tuscaloosa and Sandy Christmas of Foley; one brother, Ernie Stanford of Fairhope; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at 2 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Foley.
