WILCOX, Alabama -- Minor injuries were reported when a tour bus caught fire near the Wilcox exit on Interstate 10 Thursday, backing up traffic for miles in the westbound lanes.

Passengers were reportedly headed home to Mississippi from a trip on the Carnival Sensation cruise ship. According to Carnival's website, the 855-foot, 2,056 passenger capacity ship offers cruises to the Bahamas from Port Canaveral, Orlando, Fla.

The fire was not the result of a crash and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
