Business academy workshop reset

SPANISH FORT, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Chamber Business  Academy’s “Using Web/Internet Technology Effectively” seminar was postponed due to Hurricane Gustov. It has been rescheduled for Oct. 8.

The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Business Academy continues to offer courses featuring topics to help the business community succeed. The next workshop, titled “Using Web/Internet Technology Effectively,” with The Godwin Group, is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 8, 9 a.m. to noon at 5 Rivers Delta Resource Center on the causeway in Spanish Fort. The workshop is sponsored by Dauphin Realty.

Participants will learn how to leverage the power of the Internet from one of the southeast's leading marketing companies. Learn how to: attract more traffic to your site; create/acquire quality content; build your list; convert traffic into sales and much more.

The fee for the workshop is $39 for chamber members and $59 for non-members. Those who serve as members of any chamber of commerce may take the workshop at the discounted fee. For more information visit the chamber’s Web site at www.eschamber.com/academy.
