GULFSHORES, Ala. The Business Support Center is coordinating a Business Symposium for people on the Alabama Gulf Coast, designed to share ideas about how businesses can survive, sustain and succeed in our economy on Wednesday, at 5:45 PM on the Gulf Shores Campus of Faulkner State Community College, Room P101.
The symposium will last until 8 p.m.. Norman Schuchman of the Business Support Center will kick off the event discussing how businesses can work with each other and their suppliers; provide an update on the Gulf Coast Claims Facility and discuss how the Business Support Center can be of assistance.
Ed Bushaw of Faulkner State Community College will address opportunities for continued business education and training. Grant Sanders & Taylor, PC will discuss the advantages of different legal entities for ownership and tax return tips for filing 2010 income taxes.
Linda Whitlock, President/CEO of the Alabama Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce and Donna Watts, President/CEO of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce will discuss how your Chambers of Commerce can assist you.
Sam Nelson, Vice President Business Services Officer with BB&T Bank will talk about what banks are looking for when they review a business loan.
The Business Support Center operates under the Alabama Technology Network in partnership with Faulkner State Community College and is located on the Gulf Shores Campus of Faulkner State Community College. The Business Support Center’s function is to assist businesses and displaced workers who are encouraged to call or visit the center located on the Faulkner State Community College Campus in Gulf Shores at 3301 Gulf Shores Parkway; Gulf Shores, 36542.
