“But indeed, I would rather have nothing but tea.” - Jane Austen

So it was on Aug. 17 at the beautiful Historical Swift-Coles Home (17424 Swift Coles Lane, Bon Secour.) Copper Kettle in collaboration with South Baldwin Community Theater served up some Pride and Prejudice for Jane Austen & tea fans alike. Guests started their tour with Hibiscus punch on the grand front porch overlooking the magnificent oaks. As they were led by groups into the house for historical tours they also were treated to scenes of Pride and Prejudice being played out in the rooms. Afterwards guests enjoyed tea, scones, and cucumber sandwiches, while the talented Katy Herndon finished the experience off with her violin music.
