Minnie Mae Woodard Buxton, 91, a native of and a resident of the Crossroads community of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She was a retired clerk with different department stores in Bay Minette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.C. "Buck" Buxton; her son, James Mallory "Jimmy" Buxton; and her grandson, David Evan Toler.
Survivors include a daughter, Mildred (Thomas) Wodjenski of Bay Minette; daughter-in-law, Earnestine Buston; three grandchildren, Greg Buxton, Tami Rigby and Tommy Toler; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 13 at Durant Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Durant Chapel Baptist Church, 9551 Highway 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
