Alvis and Dorothy Byrd of Stapleton announce the engagement of their daughter, Frances Byrd, to Brent Pugh, the son of Leigh Bell of Atmore and the late Freddie Pugh.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Baldwin County High School and works with the Baldwin Rural Area Transit System.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Freedom Christian Academy and works with the Baldwin Rual Area Transit System.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 16, 2008 at Stapleton Baptist Church.
