James Paul Byrne, 76, of Fairhope, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn B. Byrne of Fairhope; two daughters, Cheryl Cook of Cincinnati and Lynn Funk of Fairhope; four sons, Michael Byrne of New Orleans, Terrance Byrne of Cincinnati, David Byrne of Daphne and Gregory Byrne of Stow, Ohio; sister, Patricia Wise of Columbus, Ohio; and 15 grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
