Hiriam “Jack” Cabaniss Jr., 50, a native of Atmore and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008 at his residence.
He was retired from Cabaniss Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hiriam Cabaniss Sr.
Survivors include his wife Ella Ewing Cabaniss of Loxley; his mother, Woodie Cabaniss Williams of Bay Minette; stepfather, Mabron Williams of Bay Minette; and two sisters, Myra (Adrian) Johns of Gulf Shores and Anne (Daniel) Greer of Elberta.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 19 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Johnny Cabaniss, Bobby Cabaniss, George Cabaniss, Gary Rountree, Leo Hartner and Fred Peaden. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Owen, Hugh Harris, Clyde Findley and Johnny Hinote.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Home of Grace, P.O. Box 5009, Van Cleave, MS 39565.
