Mr. and Mrs. Joel K. Calhoun of Fairhope proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lindsey Calhoun, to Lt. Jason Paul McCarthey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McCarthey of Woodbridge, Va.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. William E. Calhoun of Fairhope and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Morgan, also of Fairhope.
She is a 2003 graduate of Fairhope High School and a 2009 graduate of Faulkner School of Nursing. She is employed at Thomas Hospital lnfirmary Health in Fairhope, where she works as a surgical intensive care nurse.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Joan McCarthey and the late Mr. Frank McCarthey of Brielle, N.J.; and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Robinson of Richfield Springs, N.Y. and the late Ms. Joan Robinson.
He is a 2000 graduate of Gar-Field High School in Woodbridge Va. and a 2005 graduate of
George Mason University in Fairfax Va. He is presently serving as an officer in the United States Coast Guard in Virginia Beach, Va.
The couple will exchange wedding vows on Saturday, April 14, at 5:30 p.m., at Fairhope United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at The Fairhope lnn.
