Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dennis Calvert of Daphne announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Elizabeth Calvert, to Joseph Lucas Sanders, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Roy Sanders of Troy.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dana O’Neal Davis of Daphne and the late Leah Taylor Calvert and the late Cecil Samuel Calvert, both of Robertsdale.
She is a 2003 graduate of Robertsdale High School and a graduate of Troy University where she received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education in elementary education. She is employed with Troy City Schools.
The prospective bride-groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Franklin Walters Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Roy Sanders, all of Troy.
He is a 2004 graduate of Pike Liberal Arts in Troy. He is employed by Troy Cablevision Incorporated.
The couple will exchange vows Sept. 18, 2010 at Henry George Park on the Fairhope Bluff with a reception to follow at the Fairhope Yacht Club.
