Calvin “Grelon” Kendrick, 91, a native of Baldwin County and resident of Summerdale, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
Mr. Kendrick served in the United States Army and was a WWII veteran.
He was a member of the Robertsdale Assembly of God.
He was a brick mason for over 50 years, and Mr. Kendrick also enjoyed fishing. His favorite pastime was gardening, as he absolutely loved to share his produce with other.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Kendrick; and two daughters, Peggy Rains and Carol Kendrick.
He is survived by his children, Danny (Angie) Kendrick of Denham Springs, La., Susan Dyes of Robertsdale, Bill (Nancy) Kendrick of Foley, Phillip (Kathy) Kendrick of Point Clear and Becky Wible of Summerdale; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 16, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Robertsdale Assembly of God, with the Rev. Michael Lynn officiating.
Burial will be in Baldwin Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held Sunday, from 6-8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
