Cameron Harrison indicted for first degree rape

Posted

Former Spanish Fort High football player Cameron Harrison has been indicted on first degree rape charges by a Baldwin County grand jury.

Harrison is accused of raping a 16 year old girl at an open house party held in Daphne October of last year.

The Baldwin County District Attorney's office will likely seek to have Harrison's bond changed back to the original conditions, including Harrison having to wear a GPS ankle monitor device.

The grand jury's indictment of Harrison was returned on Feb. 17, but the matter will not be back in court until Apr. 20.

Gulf Coast Media will have more on this story as it develops.
