ATMORE — Baldwin County Wilderness Program will celebrate Red Ribbon Week, which recognizes the fight against drugs, with an open house for its Camp Horizon facility Wednesday, Oct. 27.

The event will include a tour, presentation and refreshments from 1-3 p.m. and a talent show featuring camp residents at 3 p.m.

The facility is located at 23750 Ewing Farm Road, Atmore.

Baldwin County Girls Residential Wilderness Program, under the direction of the Baldwin County Commission, opened in 2007. It was designed to offer metaphors of life in the real world while slowly transitioning the girls back into their home setting.
