Capt. James “Pat” Granger Sr., 55, a native and a resident of Robertsdale, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.
Mr. Granger was a huge Auburn fan. He loved being on the water, and recently received his captain’s license.
Mr. Granger was also a loving father and grandfather, and was preceded in death by his father, Willard W. Granger.
He is survived by three daughters, Joni (Robert) Hawkins of Daphne, Theresa Summer Granger and Martina Granger, both of Carrabelle, Fla.; son, James Patrick Granger Jr. of Vicksburg, Miss.; mother and stepfather, Theresa and W.C. Smith of Rosinton; three brothers, Lee Granger of Robertsdale, Joe Granger and Glen Granger, both of Rosinton; and two granddaughters, Ryan and Katherine.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale, with burial in New Cooper Cemetery, Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
