Captain Steven Craig Myers, 49, of Fairhope, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.
He was a local sea captain. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Fairhope Elks Lodge #1879.
Survivors include his wife, Gerrie Myers of Fairhope; mother, Margaret Myers of Fairhope; two daughters, Stephanie Myers of Tennessee and Bailey Myers of Alabama son, Robert Myers of Georgia; step-son, Tyler Sanders of Fargo, N.D.; two brothers, Keith Myers of Shalimar, Fla., and Scott Myers of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Renee Myers Browning of Montgomery; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at Elks Lodge #1879, Fairhope.
Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
