DAPHNE, Ala.—The Daphne Public Library and the Teen Advisory Board will sponsor a Career Day on March 3, 4 to 6 p.m., in the library community room. All sixth- through 12th-graders are invited to participate.

Students can meet with local professionals who will offer information on educational requirements, career description and skills needed for specific professions. Professional fields to be highlighted are: education, medicine, pharmacy, law, local government, architecture, graphic arts and law enforcements.

Attending a career day event helps promote career exploration and planning and assists students in making a connection between school and future careers, a spokesperson said.

Registration by phone is requested. For further information contact the library at 621-2818 ext. 211.

This is a free event; light refreshments will be served.
